    Hello everyone,
While at an autocross last night, I realized how much quicker The 330i BMW's were than my 323i...
    I was wondering if putting a 330i engine into my 2000 e46 323i touring was possible/practical/difficult.
Any input would be much appreciated.

    Upgrade to a 330it

Possible yes, difficult, not at all, it's a plug and play to install the entire engine/trans assembly into the wagon, in fact you will be building the car many of us have wished BMW had brought here in the first place. Practical, absolutely not, as with most engine swap projects it must purely be a labor (not to mention the parts) of love.COLOR="navy"][/COLOR]

Very easy swap, but if you are not doing it yourself, expect up to 40 hours labor + the cost of the motor. Have not done my homework to know if you can use your transmission, but my instincts say yes.
