Don't know how why or where I lost it but my under the engine cover is gone. It won't hurt to run without this will it? I'm hoping to find d one at a salvage yard. Thanks.

I'd be surprised if it hurts anything, but they do smooth the airflow under the car, so I'd say look at things and see if there's other pieces that might need some securing in some fashion to stay in place &/or keep from flappin' or floppin' around.

It will not hurt anything with the vehicle. But it will hurt with aerodynamics of the vehicle.

the under engine cover does more than aerodynamics. it is physical cover/protection. running over objects at speed can project them into the lower engine area (low Z4 carriage). also in heavy rains, driving through puddles of water, the highway water geyser effect can shut you down, again low Z4 carriage. ajrose60 2004 3.0 Z4
