My 2008 Z4 is a bit low on coolant. The owner's manual does not specify the type or brands of coolant that should be used. What is recommended?
This topic has been discussed (and "cussed") to death, but make it easy on yourself and get a gallon of BMW coolant from your favorite dealer. "It is written" that Mercedes-Benz & Saab coolant is the same/similar, as is Zerex G-05, usually found at NAPA stores.
