Whats best way to keep my engine clean. Having just purchased a 2002 525it would like to keep up the engine bay. Pro or DIY the way to go?
We got a letter from a reader who's been doing the coin-op high-pressure thing for 40,000 miles. . . I prefer to tidy things myself using hand cloths because I fear the evils of water getting into the electronics. But I started with a new car; if your engine bay is looking tawdry, you might start by paying somebody to detail it, and then keep after it yourself.
