1984 325E. New to me, but 220,000+ miles "experienced" how can I distinguish between these three items which seem to all be mounted on or near the thermostat housing?

can't find those pieces in their database....and the diagrams in general are too pixelated and diagrammatic to be of much real use in locating components anyway. going to be real fun trying to piece together the stuff in the steering column...my car is a theft recovery and the steering column electrics are hanging all over with no way I've found, in any manual, to identify anything .
