When I test drove my 07 it ticked for a short while then stopped. Was told what it was by the dealer and that it would stop in a short while as the car had not been driven in awhile. Was also told it would not hurt anything. It did stop in just a few minutes. I drive about 45 miles one way to work each day on I-20, drive shall we say at a good rate of speed. Not that I would ever drive faster than the posted speed limit. My 07 has not had the tick again, which would indicate that what we are be told it correct.
