Moved from Do-it-yourself section. Last week we had horrendous rainstorms here in Texas. My car sat outside with all windows shut tight. The next morning, the speakers no longer work. The radio comes on like normal with the station and song being played showing on the screen. However, no sound, none. The kids found that the back seat floor was soaking on both sides. The rest of the car is dry, seats, front, etc. I now believe that water migrated from the roof-top antenna (gasket is cracked and weather worn) to the amp. shorting it out. Thus the amp may be dead and gone an in need of replacement. Next step, replace amp? Too quiet...suggestions? Thanks.
