   My 2001 740 iL comes with a phone cable which is designed to connect to an old Motorola clam shell phone. Has anyone ever found an adapter that converts this cable into an iPhone adapter so I can run my iPhone through the built-in speakers?

   Skeptical that would work, but I don't know - I'd think you'd stand a better chance of having a successful solution with something from Bavarian SoundWerks...
