I am going to replace the Bridgestone run flats on my 2006 e90 330i with sport package. I picked the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec based on specs. Does anyone have any insight into correct tire pressures to use? I don't believe they will need the 40psi like the run flats. I am looking forward to any assist someone can offer.
Response from the Tire Rack below. Mr. Johnson, Our information indicates 32 psi in the front, and 36 psi for the rear. Update: About 1k on the Dunlops and still going strong. Still rolling quiet. I will give more updates in time.
FWIW, Tirerack just quoted the spec tire pressures for the E90 that is in the door jamb. I've had the star specs on the M5 now since Nov (about 1700 miles), and they are great tires. Very pleased with them.
32 psi in the front, and 36 psi for the rear is the perfect tire pressures. It's like driving a different car. The Tire Rack is correct yet again.
I just installed the Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec on my 05 545i with sport package(staggered set-up). After about week they seem fine, quiet, good grip. Intaller set the pressure so I will check them tonight. -Jonathan
