Has anyone purchased an aftermarket black kidney bean grill for an e92 M3?
I have but not for a M3. If your interested I can post before and after pics. Mine is a 2006 E90 very different grill. Oh mine are BMW parts also not aftermarket.
Before and after pictures would be great--thank you.
As soon as I get a chance I will switch them out and take some photos!
Oh Hey! I thought you already had the 'before' pics----don't want to put you out!
I finished it and will try to post some pictures of the before and after! It looks Amazing!
I replaced the grills, Finishing Rods and the hood pieces of the grill that some people call the mustache. The finishing rods are the thin pieces in the lower openings that run from fog light to fog light. I almost left the chrome mustache on but after trying one of the blacks ones it was a must! Sorry for the cruddy photos. Hopefully this will help you out!

Thank You very much!
photography skills bad but I like the new black grill--thanks for the inspiration DamianM3!
...credit for finding and switching the grill all goes to the husband!
It looks really good! glad it worked out for you! It does transform the car into something more aggressive, ready to pounce!
A black grill in the roadster?
I might seriously consider a black grille in the roadster. . . but I gouged the paint when I pulled it out to mount the BMW CCA badge, and I'm never going to pull it out again!
ohhh that must have hurt bad....I think I may skip the BMWCCA badge that I was going to mount......
