Saturday, December 5, Starting at 6 PM The annual Holiday Party and Yankee Swap will be held at the Sloper-Wesoly House at 27 Grove Hill, New Britain. The building is a Queen Anne style house that retains an extraordinary degree of authenticity inside and out and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. There will be no charge for the event. Those attending should bring either an appetizer or a dessert to share with others. The club will supply the hot dishes and drinks. There is a microwave oven and a stove that can be used if you wish to bring something that needs to be warmed up. As is the tradition, we will be holding our Yankee Swap after the meal. Those who wish to participate in the Yankee Swap are requested to bring a wrapped gift of approximately $15 in value.
