Congrats to the Turner team of Matt Bell and Bill Auberlen for winning the Koni race at Daytona! What a battle! Even though the race had the usual amount of yellow flag running, the green flag action was fantastic! Tune in to Speed on January 31st to see the race. All in all, a great weekend for Will Turner and his team - In addition to the win, Joey Hand and Chris Gleason finished top ten in GS (Joey led for a few laps), and Will and Don Salama had a top ten ST finish in the new E90 328 (aka "Chicken".) Even though ALMS is getting a lot of BMW fans' attention this year, don't forget the Koni Challenge series - there are tons of BMWs - M3s, 3 series sedans, Z4s, and Minis. When they're not running under yellow (which can be half the race), the action is incredible! This series has some of the best wheel to wheel action you'll ever see.
That's some of the cleanest most professional driving I've seen in a long time. I *just* watched the race (on DVR) and it was outstanding!
