    Just starting to put '74 Tii together after disassembly 17 years ago. 2 questions for now;
    - does the bleeder screw on the clutch slave cylinder face up or down
    - does the alternator need a separate external wire for ground if has rubber mounting
    Bushings? If so, where should it mount on the alternator?
    I took this car apart and had new frame rails welded in back then, but never had time.
    Just retired. Now, it's time.

    Hello, The bleeder screw faces up on the slave cylinder. Alternator requires a separate brown insulated wire double nut fastened onto one of the rear protruding studs and the other end fastens to one of the front timing cover bolts. Good luck!!
