I had the clutch/break fluid changed about 2 weeks ago on my 99 M Roadster with 124000 miles on it. It ran great till yesterday when the pedal popped out and is now way too high. The plastic cover under the dash is the only thing keeping it low enough to use. Other that the fact that it is too high it runs normal. Is there a bolt that could have fallen out or a spring I should look at? Thanks

Here is the image of the parts catalog diagram. Look to see if something is broken around 13.

Ron Stygar makes a stiffer bushing that's pressed into the pedal. At this point in time you can revert to the regular z3 return spring instead of the finicky M spring.
