This question is for those of you with young kids. What car seats do you use, and are you happy with the fit? More importantly, because of the contour of the BMW rear seats, how do you prevent the child seat from permanently leaving marks/indentations in the leather?

Well I no longer use a full car seat and have moved on to a booster. In my case I went to the store and checked the bottom of all the display models. None are perfect and still have areas I dislike. To help protect the leather I got a pure white 100% cotton towel large enough to cover the back side bottom and beneath where my sons feet dangle. The thicker the towel the better. I know this doesn't directly help you but maybe it will give you a few ideas.

They even have kick guards! Thats the area I need some help. What do you think of these? Closer to the solution you were looking for?

This one is Beige for those with other colors of leather.
