96 318ic 125,000 miles My check engine light stays on constantly, however, after filling with gas these last two times, it is off the next day. And on again after that day. Is there a vapor return line system to clean out or does this perhaps warent a new gas cap? Could either of these items cause the check engine light to come on? Thanks: Mike
Could be anything. Could be a bad cat too. I'd suggest having the codes scanned. Some auto parts places will do it for free or you may be able to find a club member to scan the codes for you.
