My 95 M3 with a little over 100k started to develop issues with knock sensors. At just under 3k rpm in 1st or 2nd gear, the knock sensors will intervene momentarily. Past 3k rpm, power resume. it begin about 1k miles ago.

Reading the codes indicate knock sensors issues. My mechanic has another customer who has the same issues. the knock sensors been replaced twice and it had not resolve the customer's car problem.

    Anyone else has this problem?

Knock sensors failing is a common problem on the '95 M3. The sensors just deteriorate over time and cause strange issues like check engine lights, etc. I have seen these sensors just fall apart upon removal.

You should replace both sensors since there is significant work needed to get to them and the added cost would be minimal.
