Can't Change Logon Name, Add BMWCCA Emblem or Get Signature Photo to Show

OK, I've tried everything I can find on the site but I cannot seem to accomplish the following:

1. Change my logon name from my CCA membership number (272151) to my usual logon name (fwardell). Edit Profile offers no help.

2. Get the BMW CCA emblem to appear (as an avatar, I guess). I'm a member in good standing - since 2001. Edit Profile offers no help. I tried the CCA website about verifying my membership (http://stage.bmwcca.org/index.php?...fy_mem&stype=4), which made the verificaiton, but still no emblem.

3. Get my signature photo to actuall show up in my posts. My Profile shows I do have a Signature Picture but it never shows up in posts.


A little help would be appreciated.

How do I get the logo to show up on the left under my name?

Well, I'm back with my new user name [was "272151"], so I got that much accomplished, but still can't get the CCA emblem or my signature photo to appear. Sent an e-mail to the webmaster April 28, but no response, so he must be on vacation or something. Any other ideas?

You mentioned your profile shows a signature picture but does the picture actually appear when you try to preview it? Also, have you tried to add a custom avatar to see if you can get that to work?

One other thing to check...

Go to your User Profile, click on "Edit Options" on the left column, then scroll down to "Thread Display Options". Make sure the boxes are all checkd for 'Show Signature', 'Show Avatar' and 'Show Images'. See if that helps.

Those were all checked off in my options so I just unchecked them as I don't have a signature or an Avatar.

OK, I've verified or done all those things. Let's see what happens. The preview showed no changes. I've also sent two e-mails to the webmaster - no response. Is the Forum Administrator reading any of this?

So any progress or feedback from the administrators??

I called and spoke to someone who told me to go to the home page which is not how I have been getting in. Normally, someone replies to my post so I just click on the email that I get saying that some one replied and that's how I get in.
Anyway, I went to the home page and he took me thru the steps.
I wish I could remember what they were.
I had to put my membership number in somewhere and viola! it worked.

I've still heard nothing from anyone (forum administrators, webmaster, staff, etc.) so I guess I'll just have to call HQ. Thanks to all who've tried to help thus far.

Any chance it's a similar issue to what MicStand was having? Have you tried the whole membership verification thing (the link that StevenS supplied at the top of the page) and going in through the home page?
