   I have a 98 318i with the stock business radio. Could it be possible to install the CD version ? will I also need to buy the cable and run it to a CD changer in the trunk?

   Yes I believe it should be just plug and play in your vehicle. The radio you want is CD43 and should work with the CD changer in the trunk. You car on the trunk lid should say if it is prewired for CD changer if you don't already have one.
