All, The AM band of the factory radio in my 2002 530i does not work until the car has been running for about 10 minutes. The FM band and CD work perfectly. It worked perfectly until about 1 year ago. Once the radio has warmed up, the AM band works fine. I am looking to see if anyone knows of a company that will repair it if I send it to them. I don't think it will probably take much to fix and would like to keep my car stock. Thanks for the help.
I have a similar need with my e39 radio... Hoping there is someone out there who is willing to go inside these frightfully expensinve things to repair them. Have you found anyone yet?
