I'm looking for a way to use the integrated telephone controls in my 2002 325i. It came with a CPT8000 phone but in today's cellular technology that phone is no longer useful. So I disconnected the cradle and installed cup holders which are useful. But still I would like to install bluetooth. I checked with the local BMW dealership and they said there was no solution for that old of a car. Does anyone have any suggestions?
It's not cheap but here's the only one I know of (there may be others, I just don't know about them ) http://www.bavariansoundwerks.com/product/497/305/BMW-E46-Bluetooth-Phone-Kit/
I'm fairly certain that the BMW Bluetooth ULF should be compatible with your 2002 3er. It may be necessary to deinstall the CPT8000 in order for the UFL to function. I would consult with Martin at Bimmernav.
