Hey, boys and girls! I have a 2016 228i with the Track Handling Package (M Sport Brakes, M Adaptive Suspension, Variable Ratio Steering), and I love the car, but with 97k on the odometer, it's time to do some maintenance on various systems. I enjoyed my Bentley Service Manual for my E36 318ti, but of course there is no new Bentley manual for the F22. There is, however, a new Bentley manual for the F32/33/36 4 Series from 2014-2016. Does anyone have experience with this manual? Do you think it would be of use to an F22 owner, since it covers the N20 engine, and the chassis certainly must have much in common? I asked Bentley themselves, but their customer service guy wouldn't offer any help in this area. Thanks for any help you can offer! Dean
No experience with that manual to help there - with enough google searching you might be able to find someone's posted pics of pages or something like that to see if it might be helpful. If you've done a lot of work on your older cars, some stuff is straightforward enough to figure out. One option might be to do a quick list of your planned diy maintenance projects & just search what's on the 'net already - some forums can have very detailed diy's, and it may be a hunt for a good one or exactly what you want, but seems like there's tons of stuff on youtube. Maybe you'd find enough reference info to skip the manual, although it's details like torque specs & the like are nice to have in hand.
