I inherited my dad's 1999 540i 3 years ago and I purchased a 2016 428i convertible back in July of this year. I have some questions about both cars so I thought I would join the club again to see if I could get some advice. My History with cars and BMW. I drove my first BMW, a 2800CS, back in 1971, what a machine. I purchased my first 320i in 1977 and leased another, a 1989 328is in 1989. I then owned a '93 Mazda Miata for 22 years since I couldn't afford the speeding tickets with the 328is. I was a member of BMW CCA in the 70's and 90's.
