I am setting up my 07 Z4 3.0si to autocross- and i was going to purchase a set of wheels specific for this without the TPMS- what happens when you mount a non-TPMS wheel on our cars? Does is throw some type of error code or is anything problematic?

My track wheels/tires don't have the TPMS sensors in them and all it does is chime once to let you know there's an "issue", than it just keeps the TPMS warning light illuminated. Doesn't throw any error codes or anything and you don't even notice the light after the first minute or two.

This is on my '08 135 so I would guess the systems are probably similar.
