    Hello All -

Am a BMW newbie, and need some technical information / recommendations.

My 325xi currently has a 'Business CD' head unit CD player, and an aftermarket iPod adapter.

Ideally, I would like to install Bluetooth (using the existing controls on the steering wheel), iPod adapter capability and Sirius/XM. It looks like I have the Bluetooth controls, but no microphones, etc.

From what I can tell, it looks like I can have Bluetooth and iPod, but not Sirius with my configuration.

    So, a few questions:

What are the best recommendations on how to do this?

    OEM or aftermarket equipment?

Do-it-yourself, BMW dealership or 3rd party?

Best places to buy these parts (Bluetooth, iPod, Sirius install kits)?

    Thanks.

Does your vehicle have a SOS button? If so your vehicle probably already has bluetooth to know for sure start your car and push the R/T button on the steering wheel and see if your radio says activate phone. But if not you should look into DICE media bridge it does bluetooth, ipod kit, aux port input and XM radio.

I second the DICE media bridge suggestion. Pretty easy DIY, uses the existing buttons on the steering wheel, works well, and reasonable price for what it does.
