AC noise at compressor

    It must be the compressor because it is worse with the AC on and I replaced the AC pulley already. I can take off the belt and see if that solves the problem but for now I can assume it will.

    To quiet an AC compressor I read one post about using a syringe to apply some lubricant to the bearing. I bet to solve the problem I need to remove and replace the entire bearing. I just know I have noise now and could use some information if any is available.

    I know I have more research to do and do not mind a little wrench but worry about expense repairs on my fine vehicle. 96,000 miles 1995 E36 M3.
