ABS light after OBDI Manifold upgrade on OBD II car

    Hi there,

I searched through the forums and couldn't quite find what I was looking for. I have an '97 M3 and which has an the OBD I manifold. As is usual, the ACS is disconnected. However, now, I am getting an ABS light, but the code scans don't show anything.

There doesn't seem to be any codes related to ABS and everything seems to be related to ACS related history since it is missing. So, no concrete reason why the ABS light is on. I am just wondering if anyone has encountered a situation like this???

    Help would be appreciated.

    thanks

No idea if it might be related to your conversion or not - barring anything else, maybe test the abs senders at each corner & see if they're sending their signal/reading?

It is common that the OBDI Manifold upgrade does make it impossible for the ACS to be connected, so most remove it. However, ABS should still work. I think my mechanic would have already checked that the ABS senders are doing their job correctly.
