I just had a brake job done, and afterwards (the same day I picked up the car) the A/C control module stopped operating properly. The shop says there is no way that they could have done anything to cause this part to fail. The coincidence seems to be too great. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks.

was it not working when you picked the car up or did it stop working after? if it wasn't working right when you picked up the car it could have failed because someone was messing with it pulling the car in, although I can't imagine what they could have done that wouldn't have caused it to stop working without causing visible damage

if it stopped working a little bit after I'm thinking it's just a coincidence

As I stated in another thread, the likelyhood that they have caused this failure is pretty much zero. It is a common failure item (the final stage unit.)
