'87 535is won't start when the engine is hot (occasional) - after a couple of hours it starts right up. Began after winter storage 07-08 (MN). Pressing the key into the column didn't help & non-BMW mechanic couldn't figure it out. Could a BMW shop figure it out for a reasonable cost, or better to start replacing parts?
