i am in the market for a M3 in about 10 months. i would like the current V8 version. i was at the dealer this weekend and they said that the current V8 model will be continued for the 2013 model with the M3 based on the F30 will be for 2014 0r 2015. can anyone back this up? thanks john
Production of the 2013 E92 and E93 M3 starts in July 2012. I'll see if I can find a date listed for end of production. Found it. E92 M3 MY2013 SOP 7/12, EOP 6/13 Months in production: 12 E93 M3 MY2013 SOP 7/12, EOP 10/13 Months in production: 16 I can't find any mention of start of production for the 4-series!
Coupe, yes? Is that also the same end date for all E92's? Was/is the N54 in all E92 335is's? Any insight if there will be an F32 335is and if so, if it uses the N54 for awhile, or is the N54 retired with the last of the E92's?
Same end date for all 2013 E92s and E93s is all I can tell you. The 640i Grand Coupe uses the hi-performance version of the N55, probably the same as the Performance Package/Kit from the last E90s. Better fuel economy seems to be the reason. We'll have to wait and see.
