Greetings all........I have a 2011 X5D with 43 K on the clock. Went to BMW Nashville TN for a price on the Platinum Warranty to 100 K. The price was well north of $ 6,000. The best they could do was $5,900. Seems pretty high. Looking at the cost of parts for this beast it just may be the thing to do. Appreciate any Comments or Alternatives out there. My thoughts were it would make a resale better. What would you say ? Any good indy shops in the Nashville TN Area ? Thanks Ed
Seems pretty high. 335d warranties are in the ~$3000 range for 6/100K for the Gold. They did recently change their pricing, and add the 7 & 8 year periods, however. You can buy anywhere (but you now have to take your car in so that they can verify miles/condition) and use anywhere; might be worthwhile shopping around.
