    Hi,
I hope you are enjoying the Summer and the few great car days we've had. I would appreciate if you would forward this e-mail about our upcoming Fall fundraiser to your members. Hopefully you and some of the BMCCA members will join us . Its for a great cause!
    All the best,
    Neil

First, another big thank you to everyone who participated in our Spring fundraiser to Mt Equinox/ Skyline Drive. That event was a big success. The winner of the raffle to a full day of track privliges at The Monticello Motor Club is Ed Nocella, a member of the Westchester Corvette Club!

Now, we have begun work on our Fall event/fundraiser. This event will be a Track Day/ Drivers Ed event at Pocono Raceway's East Road Course for the benefit of Ann's Place and the "Survive the Drive" program.

Each participant will get four 20 minute sessions on the track with a group of similarly skilled drivers. It will be the perfect opportunity for anyone that has wished to get their car on the track in a low pressure learning environment. In--car Instructors will be provided as needed. If you have track experience there will be a group for you as well! The date is Sunday October 11th, 2009.

The event will be hosted by the Formula Race Car Club of America (FRCCA) which will be running a full race event that day for their members! FRCCA has agreed to reduce their normal fee for this type of event from $200 to $100. We will then request an additional $100 donation from each participant that will go to the charities stated above.

This is still a bargain for this type of event. The event will only take place if we can get a mininmum of 30 participants so please plan on joining in this fun day to support two very worthy causes. I need to have commitments back to FRCCA within two weeks, so please get back to me immediately to let me know that you would like to participate or if you have any questions.

This event is open to all (responsible) drivers and cars. However convertibles must have a roll bar and all cars will need to pass a standard safety inspection. Please pass the word to other individuals and clubs that you think may be interested.
