    Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone in the group had switched out their halogen headlights for the more modern looking xenon lights that come in most new BMW's. I was thinking about doing it, just to make the car look a tad newer than it is, and also for better visibility at night. I asked a service advisor about it and he said it was a bad idea because it will make warning lights appear. I'm not really interested in having a bunch of lights come on in my dash.

Has anyone done this switch? If so, what was your experience? Is it hard? Did you have any warning lights come on?

    Thanks in advance!

Ok this is a very expensive upgrade to the vehicle. You will need to a new footwell module new headlights, front level sensors, wiring, light control, software to change the vehicles VO (vehicle order). To be honest the upgrade in my opinion is not worth the money involved in the change.

Uh, yeah - that kind of switchover would cost thousands.
