   Just purchased an '06 550i with 78k. A brake shimmer generally between 20 & 60 mph. Is this a simple as replacing the rotors?

   Any idea when the rotors where last replaced?
   Could be brake pad deposits on the rotors as well.
   Sometimes a few good stomps on the brakes clean it up.
   Be sure to check your mirrors!

   I had that too. New rotors did the trick.

   Well if you you do change the rotors, I'd suggest brake fluid and pads at the same time.
