Hello, I have a 2000 323ci I went to start my car after school and it just wouldn't start. My friends and I jumped it because we thought it was dead. Then we realized that the lights were coming on the dash but the car wasn't starting could this be the starter. Thanks, Logan H
Answer ... We found out that the problem was infact the key fob. My Car thought it was being stolen .
Are you sure it is the fob? A failed EWS module, transmitter, or ring antenna would cause the same symptoms. I would make sure you have a professional diagnosis before spending money on parts you may not need.
