I know they are on EV forums and dedicated i3 sites. But it seems kind of Groucho Marks to me. To miss quote, " I wouldn't want to join a club that would have me as a member". If you are out there, prove me wrong!
greetings group, hoping someone has info to appease some fear. i am using the range extender a lot more than i'd like/designed for; two full tanks a week on the 1.9 gallon tank. is this going to be a problem in future ? have also looked into the tank expansion 2.5 gallon and generator by-pass but all look a bit dodgey. is there a way to spend less time at the petrol station? regards, Wile E
Using the petrol engine will not harm it. To be honest it might be a good thing so the engine get lubricated and used compared to letting it sit unused and starting only once and awhile. Are you using the conditioning to help save battery life?
yes, great feature for batteries. i hope it works as well during the summer (south is hot in summer ). i have had decent numbers so far. 97.1 a charge is all i've managed so far. also, after checking around the inmotion people are unable to help newer generations as of now; the '15 i have is not cracked yet
now with access to the rex after 74% and the whole gas tank has made this really good vehicle great. undefined
I'm a longtime BMW driver (five, including a MINI, between 1981 - 2019) and CCA member. Recently got back into the marque through a 2017 i3 REx with 25k miles in Protonic Blue. I'd like to see the Club pay more attention to this model and will be working on it!
