The biggest ruse is getting so many people so excited over driving a cleverly-named short piece of road (and then milking their wallets if they exceed the ridiculous speed limit). There are much longer, much more entertaining, much emptier roads to enjoy. Some of 'em even get you somewhere you're going. I personally have no interest whatsoever in running the TotD.
