An Idea on posting results Frank, I offer this as an idea. I agree that names should not be posted until people are notified. However, if you attend OFest the names are made public. Maybe the solution is to post the winning numbers only as they are drawn, maybe include the chapter too.. That way people can check for themselves, then post the winners once they are notified. Mike
I think it would be helpful to keep the most current information regarding the current raffle on the "This Year's Car Raffle" page under the National Activities menu. That's the first place I went when I wanted to see the raffle results, but it showed (and continues to show) an error message: "Invalid Page Specified".
I too never received my postcard with my raffle #s and I'm from the National Chapter! An email would be fine.
I want to apologize to everyone if I caused a delay with the announcement of the winners. I'm an active duty member of the US Marine Corps and was recently deployed to Iraq. I received notification that I was a winner in this year's raffle, but I have limited connectivity to the internet. I was unable to check my email until last night. Semper Fidelis, John
John No need to apologize, sounds like you were busy doing more important things! Congrats on the win and Thank you for serving. Stay safe.
could you not just use a FlipHD or similar video cam, and then post ot youtube? They have plenty of bandwith and free... A couple of hour delay is not too bad.
Raffle Tickets Frank, I never received my postcards with my raffle numbers. How do I receive them? Given the lack of communication on results, and receipts from the online purchase, I am unsure of the process. Also, I want to make sure that you have all my information correct from the purchase. Tim
Tim, No doubt Steven has already supplied you with the information you requested but if you still need anything feel free to contact any of us directly. Frank
Are we ever going to list the names and chapters of the Raffle winners??? I want to see if the East Coast prevailed over the West Coast once again.
