    Nate,

In the Nov. 2007 issue of Roundel a letter recommends Bavarian Specialties in KOP. I have no first-hand knowledge; I just passing on what I saw in the magazine.

    I have used VAC. 25th & Snyder, call Armond (215) 462-2996.
They advertise in Roundel; supply race engines for BMWs; perform routine maintenance for reasonable prices. No hassle.

I have used Bavarian Specialties in KOP. He is very knowledgeable and a supporter of BMW CCA. I would suggest him, especially if you have an older motorsport car. I don't have personal experience with VAC, but he also has a great reputation and is also a supporter of the club.

Thank you for your reply. I live closer to VAC. I have a 2008 and am just looking around and seeing what is available for when my coupe is out of complimentary maintenance/warranty. Also I am seeking the least expensive oil/filter change since I have no intention of following BMW's 15,000 mile service interval due to the fact I am purchasing the vehicle.
    Thanks again
    Nate
