Hello all, I am new to the club. Reside on Long Island, NY.

    Have owned a number of BMWs over the years; 1969 -1600, 1971- 2002, 1974 - 2002, 1990 - 325, 2000 - 325, 2005 - 325, 2001- 540 and 2001 M3 (current car).

Will appreciate if any fellow members can recommend some good BMW mechanics on Long Island. I have done quite a bit of my own work in the past but am getting lazy,

    Thank you.

I am new here too! Recently got my 2006 Z4 3.0si roadster. The top quit 3 weeks later...the shop I used in Syosset on Jericho Tpke was Eagles Nest Motorsports. It took them 3 weeks to fix it mostly because of parts from BMW as i really didn't want aftermarket and was not in a rush. They did a superb job and it now works like new. There is another shop called The Little Garage in Huntington who has a great reputation as well and he specializes in german cars.
