Checking on the helmet requirements for HPDE at Laguna Seca, specifically if open face helmets are permitted. Couldn't find any details on their track page.
I was also wondering this, as initially it stated full-face, but that may have been left over from last years info in NJ. Right now it just states helmet, but they really should specify one or both types will be accepted. I registered for the Thursday HPDE.
Previous TECH sheet was from NJMP which does require full face. O-fest site indicates 2016 TECH sheet is "pending" which should clarify the open face helmet question. Also doing the Thursday HPDE.
Both Open face and full face helmets are acceptable for this event. M/SA 2005 or newer are ok to use.
