I won't go into why we should have 10 (same dues) or 12 (higher dues) paper issues of the Roundel. Switching to two digital issues per year has and will continue to generate postings on the forum and letters to the editor in the Roundel. But if you have to give us a digital Roundel, please do it right. First, make the font larger – a lot larger. I don't know how anyone can read the text with the font size being used. And if you use the magnifying glass to make the text readable, the edges of the pages get cropped off. Second, please give us a bookmark capability, so we can resume reading from an earlier session. Please fix the digital Roundel, and do it right away. Thank you.

    Louis,

Thank you for your feedback. We are working on updating the Roundel Archive and we always take member feedback into consideration.

If you are struggling with the font size then you can zoom in using the magnifying glass icon in the flipbook version and by just using a native zoom function (How to zoom) for our mobile version.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns!

As I pointed out in my original post, if you use the magnify function, the edges of the page eventually get cut off. So the magnify function is not a good solution. So why not just increase the font size? Using a larger font shouldn't increase the cost. Is it the cost of paying the web site master to make this change?

And you didn't address my comment on the need for a bookmark capability. Will that be added soon?

    Thanks.

    Louis,

The flipbook presents the page to you as it is laid out in the printed magazine as if each page were an image. Increasing the size of the font would push it off the page and onto another. If you are looking for a larger font size that can be increased or decreased in size then you may want to read the mobile version of the issue.

We did not have any idea to add a bookmark feature before you suggested it yesterday so I am sorry to say it will likely not be added soon if we do end up adding it in the future.
