CDV Modification?

Is the Zeckhausen CDV modification worth doing? This is for an 03 M3 6-speed manual.

I would say yes. It improves the feel of the clutch and allows better modulation.

You can simply remove the CDV and screw the hard line into the slave cylinder (it needs just a slight tweak to line up) and save the cost of a modified valve.

Of course if your car is still under warranty you may want to buy the modified valve to keep the stock appearance.

I wondered whether my M had the CDV or not; it seems to shift normally. Thanks for the tip!

it makes smooth shifting really tricky.

M cars are really purebreds... none of this junk is allowed.

This is my first BMW and I'm learning as I go. One less thing to mess with. In fact, so far nothing to mess with!
