I would say yes. It improves the feel of the clutch and allows better modulation. You can simply remove the CDV and screw the hard line into the slave cylinder (it needs just a slight tweak to line up) and save the cost of a modified valve. Of course if your car is still under warranty you may want to buy the modified valve to keep the stock appearance. Matt
you'd know if it had it because it makes smooth shifting really tricky. M cars are really purebreds... none of this junk is allowed.
