AT&T Moto Q9h Address Book Question

I have a 2007 530xi, and I just got the above mentioned phone. It syncs without a hitch, but the addresses go from A-I, and then 1-0. Any ideas why it will not copy the entries with the letters from J-Z? Is there a limit to how many entries that can be copied? It's weird that it goes from A-I, skips J-Z and then does the numbers? Thanks in advance.

First, how many entries do you have?

Second, please clarify if there is something with an odd character after the letter "I".

Thanks for the response. I have 1,734 contacts and the first entry after I is a normal "J" contact.

How many individual phone number entries are there for the 1734 entries.

I've seen some evidence that once the system hits 1000 or so, that's it. But that's just an observation on my part.
