When I speed up and slow down the radio volume increases and decreases with the speed of the car. This is driving me crazy. I bought the car used and it did not come with a radio manual. The face plate of the radio says it's a "Business" style head unit. Is there any way to disengage this feature? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Peace.

For Non-Nav Systems this will adjust but don't know if it will disable completely.

1 hold music-note key until you see "SPEED VOL n"
    2 push "+" or "-" to adjust range 1-6
    3 push "MODE" key

It also may be possible that this may be a feature that needs to be disabled by the dealer (like daytime running lamps, etc..)

Also go ahead and register your car on BMW Owners Circle (now called My Account) and enter your VIN info. Shoot a quick email to BMW and they should be able to provide you with a PDF copy of your radio manual.

    Cheers..

I went ahead and went to the dealer and bought a new radio manual, cheap and now my books are complete.
I also bought a full manual set from e-bay. It is worth doing.
