Hi, Here is my issue - the wiper motor is weak and going out. I got a replacement. However, the new motor does not fit due to the fact that it does not have brackets like the original. Does anyone know the proper motor to put in the 528e? Thanks
I'd say search http://www.mye28.com/ and if you can't find anything, give them a shot at your question. Look up your car's month and year of production, they might find that helpful, as there may have been various part changes over the model run. Where did you get your replacement part from, and are you sure it's the correct part number? Realoem.com shows the same wiper motor part number from production starting 9/82 through 12/87. The pictures they use sometimes may lack parts-variation detail, so they aren't always the best. And, unfortunately, some replacement parts from manufacturers for the older models may also be a correct number, but not exactly the same as the original.
