I have a 2008 E90 M3 that I purchased about 8 months ago and in the last 5 days I have had to reset the clock from 0:00 every time I get in the car. Any ideas as to what is going on?

You need to check your battery. When ever the battery gets low on charge the clock will reset. I would charge it up first but it the battery is original to the car then it might be time for a new one. And those batteries do have to be registered to your car by some one with the proper equipment.
