Hello. I recently purchased my first BMW, an 05 M3 competition package with SMG. I've wanted this car as long as I can remember and it's finally in my price range. I test drove it and fell in love. Unfortunately my love may have clouded my vision as I have already had to have the Vanos replaced. Hopefully a minor setback in long relationship.
Not a fan of the SMG I take it? I've driven a manual my whole life but I really enjoy the everyday convenience of not having a clutch. I'll admit the SMG can be bothersome at times, especially the 3rd to 2nd downshift, but turned up to the most aggressive setting it's a lot of fun.
