Has anyone replaced the DISA value (older BMW engines). If so, what was the mileage and age of the age?

    I have a 2003 Z4 with only 54925 miles - but the car is 17 years old.

    Thanks

With the low mileage I wouldn’t worry about it yet. Around 100k may consider it since the rubber seals may start to leak and they are super easy to replace on your engine.

If you aren't noticing any idle issues, I wouldn't worry about it. Usually, there will be something that is out of the ordinary that happens. Then it is prudent to address the issue promptly if it is DISA related...
