Some factors play into the "wobble". Do you feel it on the steering wheel and/or seats? We had a 99 528i sport that needed new bushings and caused the tires to be defected. Upon selling her, I put the style 5's and tires on the 525i. I then quickly noticed that the steering wheel would shake. New front tires cured that. You should check your tires and bushings.....
Ya, its through the steering wheel, I just had new tires installed and aligned, rotors and pads are going on today,
I was going to say go faster. Seriously though, I had that issue at about 45mph as well. Turned out to be the control arm and bushing, but instead of a wobble it was more of a violent shaking. And I mentioned go faster partly as a joke. When I went faster, the problem did disappear or if I went slower, so it was just a particular speed that it shook.
If none of that fixes things, try a high speed balancing specialist. We found one of our wheels was out of round even though it didn't show up under normal balancing.
I have suffered the same thing with the 540 (55 to 60mph) and did the "go faster" fix until I had the wheels balanced. Somettimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but it is an inexpensive start.

Speed related wobble is almost always caused by the tires. Balance your tires if they are good, replace them if bad, and then go after bushings. That is the cheapest way to fix the problem, anyhow.
Replace the control arm bushings. Assuming you've got good straight wheels and good tires, balanced properly, I would go straight for those bushings. They're relatively inexpensive and they make a big difference.
Thrust arm bushings...had mine replaced with M5 (X5 will work as well) and all the shake/wobble is gone. It is a common problem on these models... Too true about the speed thing...if I went faster or slower than the speed at with which the shake/wobble occurred, it would go away. The speed it's occurring should be the determining factor. It seems the wobble only partially disappeared after you replaced the rotors...correct? After much discussion about the possibility of warped rotors with BF.c members and my local Indie, it was pointed out that rotors rarely warp or go out of round so I stopped wasting my time considering replacing those suckers. As I stated, replaced the thrust arm bushings with M5 bushings and the problem is solved on my ride.
